Abbey Zanotti (she/her)
Therapy Intern
Abbey is a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Eastern Oregon University. She received her AAS in Occupational Therapy at Linnbenton Community College and her BA in Dance from the University of Montana. She has past work experience as a massage therapist and health coach, which has inspired her transition into the counseling profession.
Abbey is committed to getting to know the whole person and their unique story through a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed lens. She respects that a person's mental health journey is unique to each individual and prioritizes creating a safe, non-judgmental, and welcoming space for clients with diverse backgrounds and identities. She integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Narrative Therapy to help clients as they navigate challenges in their personal lives and within the broader social structures. She emphasizes the importance of integrating a holistic, person-centered approach that embraces all aspects of a person's life.
Abbey feels truly honored to walk alongside clients on their path to healing and understands that seeking mental health support takes courage and vulnerability.
During her downtime, she enjoys her flower gardens, morning yoga, and outdoor adventures with her husband and two children. She considers herself a lifelong learner who desires to travel and experience different cultures, while also savoring the simple pleasures of life with family and friends.
