Eliza Albright, LCSW (she/her)

Therapist

Eliza is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over eight years of experience in the mental health and social services field. She holds a Masters of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health and Trauma from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Child, Youth, and Family Studies from Portland State University.

Eliza’s clinical experience has involved work with immigrants and refugees, youth in psychiatric residential treatment, bereaved children and families, veterans, individuals in crisis, foster youth, the LGBTQIA2S+ community, sexual assault survivors, those living with chronic pain and survivors of natural disasters.

Eliza values choice, collaboration, curiosity and compassion in her relationship with clients. Her work with couples, individuals (teens through 65+) and families is informed by the experiential therapy approaches of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic Experiencing, Sand Tray Therapy and Internal Family Systems, commonly referred to as “parts work.”

Eliza uses experiential therapies to work through mental, emotional, physical, behavioral and relational challenges as they relate to the “here and now.” Through this approach, Eliza supports clients to explore connections between activating events, thoughts, feelings, sensations and behaviors. Oftentimes this work involves an exploration of attachment style/ needs, core values and beliefs, stories, protective tendencies and patterns in our relationship with ourselves, others and the world.

Eliza may be a fit if you are looking for support with emotional distress, life-transition, relational challenges, career and purpose related stress or burnout.

Eliza lives with her rabbit, partner and his children on a little homestead outside of town where they grow hazelnuts, apples and medicinal herbs.
